The syrup is produced by Martin Malenfant, a third-generation maple syrup producer. His maple grove is located in the Appalachian Mountains, Canada.

Turn breakfast into a special occasion with pancakes and crispy bacon. Maple syrup adds a sweet note that complements the smoky rashers. You can swirl it through yoghurt or add a dollop to your porridge.

Maple syrup is delicious in savoury recipes, too. Mix it with mustard to make a sticky glaze for salmon. Or, pair it with oil and vinegar to make a sweet and tangy dressing. Toss with peppery rocket or salads with bitter leaves.

Use maple syrup instead of honey to sweeten drinks and desserts. It’s great in cheesecakes and tarts with candied nuts.
