Morelli’s Croxetti is a round, flat pasta shape from Liguria, northern Italy. It’s embossed with an eye-catching design which helps sauces to stick.
Croxetti was originally made by pressing the dough beneath a coin or glass. It’s rarely seen outside of Liguria, making it a unique addition to your pasta collection.
Toss cooked croxetti in light, buttery sauces. It’s too delicate for a rich, meaty ragu. We like to pair it with fresh basil pesto, topped with toasted pine nuts.
Morelli pasta is bronze-drawn and dried slowly at low temperatures. This is the secret to the rough surface that helps sauces to cling.
Cooking time: 9-10 minutes.
Store in a cool and dry place, away from cereals.

Morelli is a family-run pasta company based in Tuscany. They have been producing artisan pasta since 1860. Morelli is unusual in that some of their pasta includes durum wheat germ. This gives it a distinctive nutty flavour and aroma. Their range also includes flavoured pasta and regional specialities.
