Description

Serve Gymkhana’s tandoori onion chutney with crisps, naan or poppadoms. It has a sweet, sour and spicy flavour that will keep you coming back for more.

The chutney is made with tandoor-roasted onions that are ground by hand. The sweet, smoky onions are tempered with ginger, curry leaves and black onion seeds.

This spicy chutney is a delicious dip for crackers and crudités. You can spread it on sandwiches or mix with oil to marinade lamb and paneer.

Try Gymkhana’s recipe for chilli cheese and onion toast:

Mix the chutney with grated cheese, finely chopped onion, chilli, coriander, black pepper and an egg.
Spread the mixture evenly on white bread.
Cook for 5-7 minutes under the grill until the cheese is melted and golden.
Cut into triangles and serve with leftover chutney for dipping.
