This elegant gift box contains nine ‘Precious Pralines’. They are made by hand at the Donna Elvira factory in Sicily.

Donna Elvira chocolate is made with two ingredients: cocoa and cane sugar. It has a pure, natural flavour and bittersweet finish. If you like your chocolate dark and intense, these pralines are sure to impress.

Bite through the chocolate to discover a soft marzipan core. Made with Sicilian almonds, it’s sweet and smooth with a rich, nutty taste.

There are three flavours to try: pistachio, coffee and pink pepper.

About Donna Elvira

Donna Elvira produces bean-to-bar chocolate in Modica, Sicily. Founder Elvira Roccasalva is inspired by recipes written by pastry masters in Sicilian convents. The company sources prized cocoa varieties from Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Madagascar. The range includes single origin bars, PGI Modican chocolate, nougats and marmalades. The exquisite flavours will delight the palate of any chocolate connoisseur.

Please note: You may notice a white patina on the surface of the chocolate. This natural occurrence, known as cocoa butter bloom, and is common in minimally processed chocolate. Since these gorgeous bars are not over-refined and contain no added cocoa butter or lecithin, the cocoa butter from the beans may rise to the surface over time. This is not a flaw, but a sign of the chocolate’s purity and craftsmanship. It does not affect the flavour or quality in any way. As the chocolate is roughly ground, rest assured this texture is also expected.
