Description
Centonze PGI Sicilian olive oil is the perfect gift for Italian food lovers. The oil is presented in a ceramic bottle with a ‘Blue Ice’ design. The pattern is inspired by Sicilian ceramics, bringing Italian glamour to your kitchen.
The oil is made from Nocellara del Belice, Cerasuola and Biancolilla olives. These varieties are native to Sicily. Centonze processes them soon after harvesting to guarantee freshness and flavour.
Green-gold in colour, the oil has a medium fruity flavour and spicy finish. Taste it on its own to discover notes of almond, tomato and artichoke.
A splash of Sicilian olive oil enhances all kinds of dishes. Use it to sweat onions for a risotto or rich beef ragu. It’s fantastic with red meat, fish and Italian cheeses.
You can also use it as a finishing oil for vegetable dishes. It turns asparagus and leafy greens into the star of the show.
The blue and white bottle looks fantastic on a shelf or countertop. Opaque ceramic protects the oil from sunlight, preserving its taste and aroma.
Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
About Centonze
Since 1953, the Centonze family has been producing exceptional olive oil in western Sicily’s Belice Valley, just minutes from the ancient ruins of Selinunte. Their 94-hectare estate, Case di Latomie, is home to nearly 19,000 olive trees — some of them centuries old — growing in mineral-rich soil once quarried by the Greeks.
Each olive is hand-harvested and pressed within hours, using organic, PDO and PGI-certified methods. The result? An award-winning oil with vivid green colour and bold, grassy flavour. In 2015, the grove was named a Slow Food Presidium, a rare honour that celebrates its low-impact farming and ancient native cultivars: Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla and Cerasuola.
When you choose Centonze, you’re not just buying olive oil. You’re tasting living Sicilian heritage — and supporting a family whose craft is rooted in the land, and refined over generations.
