These striped colour block dinner candles bring chic sweetshop vibes to your kitchen. In shades of rose pink, flame orange and willow grey, these candles have a simple design with bold bands of colour. The candles offer beautiful complementary tones of the British Colour Standard’s spectrum of 1930s shades.

These vibrant candles make a lovely house-warming gift, a thoughtful present to take along to your next dinner party or a way to bring a warm glow to your own home.

These candles measure 24.5cm tall, and have an 8-9 hour burn time with a clean, non-drip flame. They are made from stearin wax, ecological dyes and are paraffin free. The individual diameter of each candle is around 2cm.

About British Colour Standard

Upon finding an old colour dictionary in a charity shop, Jackie Piper and Victoria Whitbread revived a long-forgotten brand. They use modern technology to re-profile original colours logged in the 1930s. With inspiration from nature, precious stones and spices, they bring these colours back to life. British Colour Standard collections are a continuation of a rich history of colour. Established 1931, now 21st century ready.

Usage: Handle with care. The hand-poured nature of the product means that this is a delicate item and wax discs can separate if rattled too much. Best when lit for 4 hours at a time. Stop burning when 2cm of unmelted candle remains. Leave 10cm between candles when burning.
