Description
Alto de Bayne Barrica is a red wine made with Monastrell, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It’s produced in Jumilla in southeastern Spain.
This aged Spanish red has a unique flavour profile. Expect dark fruit flavours from Monastrell grapes with a hint of spice and cacao. These are balanced by the floral notes of Syrah and vegetal notes from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
Alto de Bayna Barrica is a medium-bodied red wine, often described as ‘playful’ and ‘harmonious’. The first impression is of fresh acidity which mellows to a smooth and well-balanced finish.
This Spanish wine is an ideal accompaniment for grilled meats and cured cheeses. Enjoy a glass with roast pork or chicken and chorizo stew.
Best served at a temperature of 16-18ºC.
