Description

ABC+ codfish stew is inspired by traditional Portuguese recipes. The sauce tastes like it’s been simmering on the stove for hours. Serve it with crusty bread and a glass of Vinho Verde. 

The flavourful sauce is a perfect match for succulent cod. It’s made with tomatoes, onions, garlic and red pepper. Chilli adds subtle heat to cut through the richness.

This fish stew is perfect for busy days when there’s no time to cook. Warm it gently on the hob and dinner is on the table in minutes. You can serve it over white rice or add some cooked potatoes. Don’t forget slices of fresh bread to mop up the sauce.

About ABC+:

ABC+ is the newest addition to the José Gourmet family. This Portuguese food brand specialises in tinned fish and seafood. The company pays fair trade prices for sustainably caught fish in Spain and Portugal. Their canned fish, or conservas, are renowned for their quality and flavour.
